Profhilo® works by precisely injecting ultra-pure hyaluronic acid into the area being treated.  For the face this is usually 5 points on each side of the face.  Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo® stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin which allows the skin to be conditioned from the inside out.  It is a stabilised product, hence the activity on dermal cells lasts longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. The stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place over time by the slow release of hyaluronic acid which results in significant tightening and lifting effect on the tissue.

Downtime - minimal 

For optimal results 2 treatments are recommended 4 weeks apart followed by 6 monthly treatment.​
